Job Description

Join us as a Treasury Finance Manager

  • Well look to you to deliver quality daily, weekly and monthly financial control of term funding and treasury metrics on both the balance sheet and P&L

What youll doAs Treasury Finance Manager, youll be preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly and yearly statutory disclosures for the bank. Alongside this, youll be helping to shape, monitor and optimise the banks balance sheet strategy. Through the course of your work, youll be:
  • Maintaining an involvement with the capital activities in our core legal entities, such as dealing with subsidiary investments, dividend income and expense, and monitoring capital instruments
  • Supporting with project work, covering control and process enhancement and efficiency initiatives
  • Supporting the delivery and enhancement of our treasury middle processes and controls
  • Preparing relevant accounting, balance sheet substantiation and business support requirements
  • Undertaking regular Sarbanes Oxley testing and control, as well as external audit requirements
The skills youll needYoull have knowledge of a banking or treasury environment and ideally a treasury or accountancy qualification such as an ACCA, ACA, ACT or CIMA. Well also need you to have experience of completing statutory disclosures in addition to normal accounting procedures. Youll also have experience of financial control in a financial services environment, together with knowledge of treasury instruments. On top of this, youll demonstrate:
  • A good understanding of cash and derivative products
  • The ability to manage projects or support ad hoc project work
  • The ability to streamline processes and enhance controls
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to work with people across different teams and levels
