The Royal Academy of Music is a creative and vibrant workplace with a diverse mix of students and staff from over 60 countries. Integral to the musical training we offer is the opportunity to perform; in an average year, the Academy runs a vibrant programme ofaround 500 events.Philanthropy plays a significant role in the life of the Academy and supports our mission to develop and educate the musicians of tomorrow. Since 2013, the Academy has raised over £42 million through philanthropic donations, and excitingplans are underway to develop a campaign to celebrate the Academys Bicentenary in 2022.We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Supporter Engagement Manager to join the Advancement team. You will be responsible for the development and implementationof a stewardship and recognition programme designed to foster and nurture long-term, meaningful relationships between the Academy and its donors.To be successful in this role you will need to have superb relationship-building skills and a very strong understandingof donor needs and motivations. You will be a confident and intuitive communicator, both in person and in writing, and have proficiency in Raisers Edge, MS Word, Excel, and social media or mass communication platforms. You will be educated to degree levelor able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
