Job Description

Concept Resourcing are pleased to be working with a global IT Reseller who are looking for a Supplier Manager to join their team on a permanent basis in their state of the art Central London HQ.Within this role you will be responsible for ;

  • Establishing a supplier development programme to sustain high supply chain performance.
  • Identifying key development areas with suppliers.
  • Overall onboarding of suppliers.
  • Negotiating commercials throughout the year and during tender processes.
  • Supplier improvement plans and holding suppliers accountable to deliver exceptional service levels.
  • Understanding the organisations internal sales, operational and technical capabilities and build plans with aligned suppliers.
  • Managing and identifying commercial and operational risks, ensuring that these are assessed and appropriately controlled/mitigated.
To be successful in this role you need;
  • An understanding of the IT / reseller industry - Must have.
  • A proven track record of experience within a similar role as a Supplier Manager or Procurement professional.
  • Experience in implementing supplier / vendor management tools / methodologies - Must have..
  • Proven success managing the supplier base with constant development and negotiation.
  • Ability to work within fast paced environment.
  • Confident in juggling numerous projects / tasks.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Desire for continuous improvement and passionate about building and maintaining supplier relationships.
This role offers up to £50,000 + benefits. Flexibility to work from home twice a week.
