Software Engineer / Golang Developer (Data Cryptocurrency) Are you a skilled technologist looking for an opportunity to make an impact and accelerate your career in a global cryptocurrency firm You could join this organisation, a pioneer in their field who offer unrivalled breadth, scope and depth of data, bridging the gap between the crypto asset and traditional financial markets. As a Software Engineer, youll act as a key technical pivot in supporting the real-time data pipeline, predominantly using Golang to integrate with new data sources. With a focus on upholding the highest level of data quality, youll maintain and troubleshoot the data pipeline, detecting issues and making improvements to monitoring systems to automate tests. Not only will you have the opportunity to take a lead on projects and contribute to technology decisions, but as a senior team member youll be a key point of contact as a mentor to more junior team members. *Please note: the company can offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as work from home for the foreseeable, with 1 - 2 days expected in the central London office every few weeks, for team meet-ups, tech talks etc.* Requirements: *You have a technical background with backend software engineering *You have commercial Golang development experience *Youre familiar with NSQ or other messaging queue *You have good working knowledge of Linux OS, bash scripting*Ideally youll have experience with monitoring systems such as: Icinga, Grafana, Graylog*Youre naturally collaborative and enthusiastic, keen to learn about Cryptocurrency*Youre degree educated, Computer Science preferredAs a Software Engineer / Golang Developer youll earn a highly competitive salary (to £75k) plus a comprehensive benefits package.
