Are you passionate about software sales with a keen interest in providing industry leading services/solutions to your clientsAre you looking to join a financially secure start up to help drive future revenue & market shareOur client, who are based in the aviation sector are looking for a tenacious, self-motivated business hunter to join them and lead their evolving sales team.Founded nearly 40 years ago the company’s services and support extends across a number of sectors which include special mission, technology and outsourcing and business aviation.What’s the scopeThe Technology and Outsourcing business unit of the company is a newly formed business unit to bring together the combined capabilities of product and service delivery. The business unit has the following capabilities:

Aviation software products

Continual Airworthiness Management and maintenance planning services

Flight operations services

The business unit has a broad customer base and delivers directly to customers as well as delivering capabilities to other business units within the company group. The unit will see growth in new and emerging technology areas including drone and eVTOL platforms. In addition, the software has seen significant advancement using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) bringing differentiated capabilities to market. The portfolio of products and services complement each other and offers significant ability to cross sell to solve customer requirements.You will be involved in

The leadership of an existing sales team that are spread geographically between the UK and the US with plans to expand the team in the second half of 2021.

Setting sales strategy and providing mentoring to the sales team - you will also be expected to carry personal sales quota and deliver sales in your own right.

Turn potential leads in to closed deals utilising the already strong pipeline of prospects in place.

This is a hands-on sales role which is looking to build on your existing sales management capabilities or alternatively, expand your skillset into the management of others and the setting of strategic approach.

We are looking for:

An energetic sales professional with a proven track record of sales of SaaS software products and services.

You can demonstrate the ability to motivate and lead others to deliver results.

You will thrive in a start-up environment of a rapidly growing business and you will relish leading by example and achieving sales quotas.

You will ideally have performed this role in the aviation sector or in a similar market vertical.

Happy to travel across Europe & US as required within the remit of the role.

SaaS sales experience is highly desirable.

Package & Benefits:

Salary up to £60k (dep on experience) + up to £30k OTE Uncapped.
