Job Description

The Relationship Manager will take responsibility for managing and enhancing our insurer relationships as well as identifying and delivering opportunities for growth. This includes maximising the return on lead generation by ensuring that our teams havethe right insurers and products available on our panel.Role specifics

  • Maintain, develop and enhance Bionic’s existing relationships with its panel of insurers
  • Build new relationships with insurers that will help support Bionic’s lead generation
  • Identify new opportunities where our existing arrangements could be enhanced financially or by service level improvements or by product enhancements
  • Increase the % of customers who we can support with insurance quotations whilst being aware of factors that could restrict this, such as experience in our sales teams or availability of products
  • Facilitate regular meetings with panel insurers leading with data, analysis and raising challenges and opportunities from our business and drive a solution with our partners
  • Own and enhance our Sales teams placement tools by reviewing content and providing updates to our Commercial team to process necessary changes
  • Manage TOBA’s and other contractual documents working with the Commercial team and colleagues in Compliance
  • Work collaboratively sales and commercial team leadership to identify new opportunities or existing arrangements that have potential to have a greater impact
  • Regularly update Insurer partners with changes happening at Bionic and manage information flow to all our teams from our Insurer partners
  • Work closely with colleagues in the Insurance Commercial team to ensure support our move to a new system
  • Collaborate with Insurance Commercial colleagues raising issues with insurers and managing them through to resolution
Requirements
  • Three or more years’ experience in relationship management role
  • Experienced in using data analysis to make decisions and reach conclusions
  • Confident presenter who is organised and articulate and comes prepared to meetings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and under own initiative when required
  • Exceptional organization skills and a strong work ethic
  • Commercial Insurance experience preferred but not essential, experience of other classes of Insurance considered
  • Progress towards CII qualifications preferred
