My client is looking for a Programme Officer to join their team temporarily for 3-6 months. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various teams in carrying out projects.Key responsibilities:• Developing, designing and delivering relevant technical cooperation, training and advisory programmes• Preparing, managing and updating project budgets, contracts and arrangements with partner institutions• Providing advice and guidance to delivery partners and external funding agencies on financial disbursements and reporting• Coordinating logistical arrangements for conferences, training programmes and workshops• Coordinating the recruitment process and contract management for technical assistance projects• Managing and coordinating third-country training programmes and monitoring donor contributions• Assisting in the development and implementation of results-based management processes for programmes and projects• Participating in regular professional development training and field visitsQualifications:• A first degree in Public Administration, Development Studies, Business Management or any relevant Social Science discipline• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in/with international development assistance, including a proven track record of developing and managing technical cooperation projects in developing countries• A sound understanding of government operations within developing country settings• A sound understanding of project design, including project budgeting and forecasting, the use of tools such as Project Cycle Management and Results-Based Management• Excellent written and oral communication skillsIf you are interested in this opportunity, please send your CV by Wednesday the 24th of January.
