Job Description

Robert Half are excited to announce that we have exclusively partnered with a high-growth trading & energy business are are looking for a Business Operations Manager. They are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and accomplished candidate to workclosely with the partners on projects, and in the future lead and scale on of their businesses at a time of investment & growth.This is a new and exciting role, and the high calibre job holder will be key in supporting the Partners as the business evolves. The Business Operations Manager will gain a broad understanding of the company and have the commercial savviness and operationalawareness to work across the business, and acting as an enabler between the business and the Partners.THE ROLE:

  • Understand the responsibilities, needs & priorities of the Partners to create the time and space needed for them to focus on the most strategically critical demands of the business.
  • Carry out a high level of delegated responsibility whilst also using own initiative in acting on behalf of the Partners.
  • Provide highly visible interface with the Partners for specific projects and initiatives.
  • Developing business plans, investor packs, and presentations.
  • Follow-up actions and deliverables from relevant meetings.
  • Determine and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
  • Tracking project processes, deliverables, and financials.
THE PERSON:
  • Purpose driven and able to work effectively in a busy and complex environment while maintaining high attention to detail & meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident, credible, persuasive, and a collaborative team-player.
  • Excellent MS-suite skills with ability to prepare first class presentations and documents.
  • Ability to translate complex information into professional and clear format to influence positive business outcomes.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability.
  • Ability to take initiative and identify ways to improve processes and businesses.
  • Work independently on multiple projects.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Experience of working in a similar roles and reporting to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Advising and influencing senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • MBA or degree in Business Management, Finance, legal or another relevant field.
