Job Description

Job SummaryThe Manager, Programme Management, is responsible for leading the delivery of assigned projects that include all technology required to build and maintain Pearson corporate office sites. This includes, but is not limited to decommission, consolidation, enhancementof technology and supporting new build out and integration of acquisitions into Pearson technology infrastructure. The program manager is responsible for the overall delivery of technology solutions that adhere to Pearsons standards and are in coordinationwith the overall projected delivery targets.The ideal candidate will work with project teams, business stakeholders and our customers to deliver IT solutions as part of the Digital Workplace Services Team. This Programme Manager will lead the development of project plans, wholistically manage projectbudget, oversee the development and tracking of detailed work plans, and manage all aspects of the property projects from a technology perspective.The role will report to the Pearson Director - Workplace Technologies services of Digital Workplace Services and will work closely with business users, other technology partners and project managers.Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and deliver APAC, EMEA and MEA property programme for the Tech work-stream.
  • Ownership of Tech Business Case
  • Oversight of portfolio for Tech across regions
  • Liaison with Property & Facilities Directors and Finance Leads
  • Oversight and management of risks, issues and dependencies reviewed weekly
  • Oversight over Controls and SOX Audit queries across portfolio (for Tech)
  • Simplification of process and tooling
  • Agile ways of working adopted allowing for more flexibility and interaction across delivery approach
  • Encourage open dialogue across meetings and 1-2-1s
  • Recognising success and celebrating it
Minimum Skills RequiredEssential Skills /Experience Extensive years of technology project management and infrastructure & cloud deployment experience Have PMI (Project Management Institute) certification or similar accreditation Experience in effectively delivering several large & complex implementations/upgrades projects for IT infrastructure Have a strong working understanding of technology within an office environment including circuits, network, servers, voice and video platforms and user devices.
