Voxbone has been on Deloitte’s Fast50 list for the longest period of time, with the highest average ranking.The Finance function is organized around 3 pillars: a Shared Services Centre, which performs all accounting entries, Financial Controlling, which guards over data quality and consistency, as well as statutory reporting, and Business Support, converting data into information and knowledge to support management.Within the Financial Controlling team of the Finance department, the primary mission is to ensure that the financial statements of the Voxbone group are compliant with the relevant accounting policies. The initial scope of the role will be to serve as a back-up for all Financial Controlling tasks in the organisation, and is, therefore, an ideal entry position to generic Financial Controlling.Lets Break it down..Accounting ControllingEnsure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of the General Ledger according to local GAAP and Group Policy (IFRS) by being focused onReview of bookkeepingBalance reconciliationProduce a trial balanceCreate internal controlsReconciliation between Group financial statements and local GAAP financial statementsBack-up for the monthly and yearly accounting closingContinuous improvement, standardization and automatization of the closing processManagement and coordination of the closing processEstablishing and executing internal control over the company’s accounting and financial proceduresStatutory ControllingPreparation and submission of Statutory Financial Statements in various jurisdictionsPreparation of the annual management report where neededTax controllingAssist in identification, preparation or review and submission of all type of indirect and direct tax returns in BE and UKAssist in coordination with external consultants for identification, preparation and submission of all type of indirect and direct tax returns for USCollaborate with external consultants/lawyers in order to defend the interests of Voxbone and related parties towards any tax and VAT administrationIFRS expertAct as the IFRS expert at Voxbone by monitoring IFRS legislation/updates and translate it to the Group accounting policyImprove and automate the IFRS translation into the ERP systemAudit Planningprepare and coordinate with all stakeholders the external auditTo bring the win heres what we need..Education / Professional experience:Master’s degree in Economics/Accounting or equivalent by experienceACA, ACCA or CIMA certified accountantExperience in a finance or accounting function is desiredTechnical knowledge: Excel wizard: you dream about pivot tablesRevenue Assurance / Billing systemsRisk ManagementStrong technical knowledge of finance processes (accounting, controlling, reporting…)IFRSConsolidationTaxConceptual understanding of ERP systems (AX2012, Netsuite)Necessary skills: Customer orientationBusiness AcumenManaging relationships & CommunicationTaking Direction & ResponsibilitySound good We’re offering…- A fantastic working environment from our bright and modern office in Spitalfields, London- Competitive salary and perks- Frequent social events and company goodies- Free healthy snacks and drinks including fancy coffee for caffeine addicts- Health insurance- Pension scheme- Work laptop and mobile phone including monthly plan Required skills
