Job Description

The investment administrator will need to provide high-level service and support to clients and third-party intermediaries whilst also conducting duties such as; on-boarding, portfolio and trade data reconciliations, reviewing pricing, corporate actionsand maintaining the CRM system.Client DetailsThe financial services client is a discretionary investment manager based in the City of London. Established in 2009 by a group of investment professionals, the firm provides discretionary investment management services for families, trusts, and charitiesboth in the UK and offshore.DescriptionThe core duties that need to be carried out by the Investment Administrator are:

  • Work within a small administration team to ensure a broad range of day to day tasks are completed, including:- Client onboarding / account setup- KYC, AML, PEP & Sanctions check- In-specie transfers, payments, liquidations- Portfolio / trade data reconciliation- Review pricing, dividends and corporate actions- ISA subscriptions- Adhoc and quarterly valuations- Investment performance calculations- Tax reporting- Preparing meeting and review packs- FATCA and CRS reporting- MiFID II Transaction Reporting- CRM / maintaining client files and records
  • Assist in the management of projects and initiatives within the teams
ProfileThe pre-requisites for the Investment Administrator are:
  • 1 year of experience in financial services, preferably in an investment administration or similar type role within Private Client Investment Management or Financial Planning
  • A working knowledge of financial markets, investments and investment related administration
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular with Word and Excel - experience with either Figaro or IMiX would be advantageous, but not essential
