INTERIM SENIOR LOGISTICS MANAGER REQUIRED BY GLOBAL LUXURY FASHION BRAND- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OF DEALING WITH U.S.INCLUDES ELEMENT OF WORKING FROM HOMEMy Client is a very well know global luxury brand who has undergone a period of restructuring.Combined with this their European presence means they have to be aware of any changes due to Brexit. Furthermore they have a growing U.S. market which they need to give special attention to and ensure the supply chain works smoothly.They have a London office, but this role will be mainly working from home. There may also be some travel to their warehouse.You will be reporting and working closely to the US Director for the brand and the UK based Group Operations manager.YOU MUST HAVEA logistic background and experience in managing projects. An understanding and experience working with projects in the US and therefore a full understanding of movement of goods from the UK to the US - customs/ clearance/ taxes etc.Technical understanding of import and exports. Experience of setting up US projects, dealing with logistics and warehouse stock management and movement.Experience of working with standard stock movement computer systems. Currently they have a warehouse in the US and the UK. They will be closing the US warehouse and this person will be required to manage this project. Going forward all Ecom orders from the US will have stock shipped from the UK warehouse to customers in the US. Therefore they must understand all taxes and have experience working with third party suppliers. Due to the restructure they will be responsible for other projects happening in the business through time.
