Job Description

Our Insurance Department is seeking a proactive and highly organised Team Manager to lead the Head Office based insurance team. This fast-paced role offers an excellent opportunity for a strong leader to hit the ground running and make a real differencefrom day one. The insurance department is responsible for increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of claims processing as well as ensuring the quality in the insurance software.Furthermore, the holder of the position must ensure that there is a uniform level of knowledge within the business department.The successful candidate will need to be flexible to travel in nationally approximately 20% of the time.We have a hybrid working model for Head Office roles, ensuring you have a flexible work life balance.What youll do

  • Leading and developing the insurance team
  • Monitoring local changes to legislation and the local insurance markets; deriving from them insurance needs and plans for action
  • Claims handling
  • Negotiating and procuring insurance protection through tenders, renewals and conclusion of local policies
  • Administering insurance protection
  • Carrying out independent insurance audits of local policies across Great Britain
  • Making recommendations for future improvements
  • Holding and conducting open discussions with stakeholders
  • You will be the face of the insurance team, representing the team at company-wide meetings and presenting to senior management Working within the international guidelines and implementation the international insurance strategy
What youll need
  • Business wide experience/ knowledge is an advantage
  • Excellent Leadership skills and experience in Team Management
  • Good organisation and project management skills
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and to deliver accurate results
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • A self-motivated and proactive individual with a can-do attitude and the ability to solve problems independently
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise and manage expectations of multiple high-level stakeholders
  • Flexibility to travel approximately 20% of the time
  • Driving licence is essential
  • German language is beneficial
