Job Description

Health and Safety AdvisorA multi-disciplinary utilities control and management service in London is looking to appoint a Health and Safety Advisor to join their ever-growing team. An exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety professional to provide advisory services across a wide selection of projects such as industrial, commercial, educational and residential.This is an opportunity for a managerial level candiate who is comfortable with auditing, creating policies, working on site as well as from head office and liaise with senior management regarding HSE procedures.The Role of the Health and Safety AdvisorAs the successful Health and Safety Advisor you will work alongside the client and advise on all aspects of health and safety:

  • On Site Inspections
  • Overseeing Small-medium projects
  • Undertaking site audits and risk assessments
  • Attending project team meetings
  • Providing staff inductions
  • Visiting project sites prior to construction to carry out initial risk appraisals and during construction to review arrangements (as required).
    • The Successful Health and Safety AdvisorThe successful Health and Safety Advisor should be established within the sector and be proficient in the following:
  • TechIOSH Qualification General is essential
  • Experience with "On-Site" Health and Safety is essential (3 years minimum)
  • An understanding of Health & Safety Legislation is required with a good understanding of the Health & Safety at Work Act and Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations and good working knowledge of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 are all essential.
  • Auditing experience is a must and the ability to create policies and documents, essential.
  • RAMS, Toolbox Talks
  • SMSTS & CSCS Preferred
  • Utilities and Groundwater experience is preferred - Please highlight on your application if you have this experience

  • Salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum dependant on experience.
