Job Description

Quest have proudly partnered with a leading & award winning Fashion and Lifestyle retailer looking for a Head of Marketplaces with the expertise of setting up and running 3rd party marketplaces such as Ebay, Zalando, ASOS, Nordstorm etc) and identifyingways to increase sales and revenue.This role is looking for someone who is immediate available on available within 1 month for an initially 9 month contract to project manage and onboard the brand into their marketplace of choice and creating a roadmap for further new marketplaces to takethe business forward.The roles and responsibilities in this Head of Ecommerce Marketplaces -include-

  • Working with the marketplace to onboard the brand efficiently within tight time & budget constraints
  • Collaborating with external and internal stakeholders within Buying, Merchandising, IT, Finance & Marketing
  • Sales planning, content, forecasting and reporting, including budgeting and weekly trading analysis.
  • Work with leadership team to define third party (Marketplaces and Online Concessions) ecom strategy for the UK and international markets
  • Launching of new product collections and making sure all inventory is available uploaded to each marketplace in line with marketplace requirements
  • Working with analytics to deliver the project and look at other marketplaces that could be suitable
To be successful of this Head of Ecommerce Marketplacesposition -
  • Looking for someone with 7 years + eCommerce/Online or Digital Trading experience
  • You must have experience of onboarding, project managing and leading new products on marketplaces
  • At least 3 years experience working with marketplaces
  • Ideally is highly experienced in working with and growing online marketplace revenues for fashion brands in the UK & in Europe
  • Exposure to either TradeByte or ChannelAdvisor platforms highly advantageous.
  • As this is an initial 9-month contract it would require someone who can be available imminently!
  • Has experience of working with project management tools
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and evidence of successful outcomes from collaborative projects
