Job Description

Our client is a globally distinguished lifestyle brand looking for an enthusiastic & experienced Ecommerce Manager to oversee their online product performance and optimise the customer experience.Driven by an inspiring ethos, the company are highly respected in their field and would be pleased to welcome an accomplished individual to join them in reaching new successes.Ideally, you will have 3-4 years experience of working across multiple websites, as well as being highly proficient in Google Analytics and Excel. Most importantly, you will be an analytical problem-solver with a high standard of technical skills, a robusteye for detail & a desire to get stuck in and grow alongside a well-renowned company.The role of E-commerce manager will include:

  • Managing the execution all online marketing activities alongside the Marketing team and the wider business, such as new product launches and sales events.
  • Promoting new online content through homepage updates twice a month, increasing the drive of appropriate products based on marketing & sales data.
  • Taking responsibility for uploading new products to the website, maintaining clarity of T&Cs and delivery options & administering the companys visual merchandising.
  • Working in collaboration with the wider business to optimise customer journey across all bases, communicating regularly with the business as a whole on E-commerce statistics.
  • Taking ownership for the visual representation of online products & content, following SEO guidelines at all times.
  • Execution of the websites AB/MV testing roadmap and site navigation testing, enhancing the customer experience.
  • Communicating with stakeholders across the business regarding reports, testing structures, and propositions whilst identifying how to use this data to implement results.
  • Work alongside the appropriate stakeholders to optimise website performance, usability, and improvements.
  • Conducting thorough audits of website traffic and growth opportunities alongside the Marketing Team.
  • Reporting and identifying the websites KPIs, implementing strategies where necessary.
  • Weekly E-commerce reporting and reviewing of customer feedback.
Skills required for the E-commerce Manager role:
  • 3+ years experience managing and testing websites for a B2C eCom business.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of directing the smooth-running of websites whilst ensuring SEO optimisation.
  • Experience in running A/B tests to optimise online conversion rates.
  • Commercially minded with a knack for problem-solving and a desire to prioritise customer experience.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills & experience in dealing with large sums of data.
  • Strong attention to detail, adept proof-reading skills & a desire for visual accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information to a range of stakeholders.
  • Open-minded team-player with the desire & flexibility to grow with a revered company!
  • Experience using Big Commerce/Magento & Netsuite desirable but not essential.
