Cruise Line COVID-19 Tester

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for one of the fastest and most reliable COVID-19 testing companies in the UK, looking for Covid Testers to join a leading Cruise Line Industry. To date, they have conducted over 4,000,000 COVID-19 tests and are on a mission to help the world get back to the lives we loved living.Guests and crew will sail out of our Southampton port around the world on exciting itineraries to the Caribbean, Bahamas, Florida and Europe, among others.We seek out people who want to share their passion for travel, work with the latest technology and join a friendly, diverse team to serve the cruise line guests and see the world. We understand our responsibility to safeguard our team mates, guests, andour oceans, and our highest priority is to operate in a safe and socially responsible way every day.As a Covid Tester you will be COVID testing passengers and crew members on cruise ships. You will be:

• Greeting guests
• You will check that the guest test kit matches the name on the card and the bar-code matches their wristband
• Wearing full PPE you will perform a double nasal swab
• You will complete the full test process as outlined in your training
• You will provide excellent customer service ensuring a positive experience for the guests
• No additional duties will be required of you whilst on board but your duties may vary from swabbing to check in and running tests

Our client offers full, paid training to ensure you know exactly what to do prior to sailing off. Full PPE will be provided as well as all necessary equipment.

• You will be working 37.5h per week, with guaranteed 2 days rest. The shift patterns will run through Monday to Sunday, and it can be early or late start across all those days, so full flexibility is required.
• Travel Visa & Insurance will be provided by the client
• Pay rate:£17.50 p/h (overtime is yet to be confirmed)
• Start date: 03/01/2022
• Interview with Prenetics: w/c 6th of December
• Training: w/c 13th of December
• The first cruise ship will deport on 3rd of January 2022, and you will be on the cruise ship for 30 days (1 week rest well be required between cruises). This means once the cruise ship leaves the Southampton port you will not be back in the UK until thecruise ship has ported back at the Southampton dock. If the journey takes longer than 30 days, you will be able to disembark at nearest port e.g., Bahamas - and we will then facilitate and arrange your journey back to UK (most likely a flight)
• This position is afforded comfortable cabin accommodations, meals, access to WIFI, exceptional amenities etc.
