Role To co-ordinate the activities and provision of support in order to ensure that bilateral counterparty trades, cleared exchange volumes and transmissions are nominated to the European TSOs as per the strategy of the Trading Desks to maximise profit and within operational deadlines to minimise financial penalties. Main responsibilities Troubleshooting systems-related; operational issues that occur in the course of day to day activity. Providing on-call support and to remote log-in for weekends. Co-ordinating Day to Day checking of positions and resolution of disputed positions. Resolution of the more complex imbalance queries with counter parts or from TSOs on an ongoing daily basis. Co-ordination for known events (New Year/New month/Time change) for specified markets. Technical Requirements Understand the electrical transmission system and the interconnections between the various European grids. Understanding of the ETSO nomination logic and sufficient skill to correctly modify xml nominations manually. The ability to use all the external IT systems required for nomination, capacity reservation, and maintenance information purposes. Strong quantitative and analytical skills is a prerequisite Experience of VBA or other programming skills is useful Person specification Prerequisites Proven experience in Continental Power Operations
