Job Description

A new opportunity has arisen to join Eximium, a growing Talent Marketplace for innovative start-ups and scale-ups. We offer in-house talent strategy and talent acquisition services.Established in 2016, a provider of talent strategy services across innovative and technology sectors in the UK and Europe. Eximium has a global reach and our local presence enables us to access the best candidates and clients within their territories. Our industry knowledge helps us understand the challenges our clients face and thus provide the best talent.Your role

  • As our first Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our client portfolio on an (inter)national level.
  • Develop your own sales strategy on how you will qualify, approach, and close key players in
  • the start-up and scaleup marketplace as clients for Eximium in UK and Europe
  • Tailor Eximium’s value proposition to prospects based on in-depth research of their specific
  • business conditions and drivers
  • Manage your own pipeline and sales process, including effective forecasting and opportunity closure
  • Arranging and conducting the first discovery call with prospects tailored to their business requirements and needs
  • Do your outreach through various channels on and offline by using a modern lead generation tool stack, Linkedin, etc..
  • Increase Eximium’s visibility in the marketplace by attending events, networking opportunities, webinars... and use these opportunities to build your own network in the fast-growing start-up and scaleup scene
  • Job requirements
  • You have 3+ years of business development or sales experience, preferably in services and/or consultative environment
  • You have a passion for people and talent development
  • You have a proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • You are a skilled negotiator with strong commercial and business acumen
  • You are a native English speaker, other languages are a plus
  • You have excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • You are comfortable speaking to founders of successful startups and scaleups
  • You are able to listen to and understand potential clients and their business requirements
  • You are a confident self-starter with a willingness to learn
  • You gain energy from expanding your network and building long-lasting relations
  • You have a good understanding of the UK (and European) startup and scaleup landscape
  • You have the ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines, and to prioritize competing demands effectively
  • You find continuous self-development essential and get energy from not only growing yourself but also the other team members of Eximium
