Service: Environment, Roads and Facilities Section: FacilitiesLocation: Conwy Harbour and Conwy CoastSalary: G04: £20,493 - £21,748 per annumHours and Basis: 37 hours per week, PermanentWelsh Language Skills: DesirableManager details for informal discussionregarding the post: Matthew Forbes / Harbour Master / / .ukThe post holder will primarily work as deck crew on-board the Harbour Authoritys work vessel Jac y Do, carrying out harbour maintenance. Maritime experience and practicality are essential.The postis physically demanding in a sometimes harsh environment. The post holder will also skipper the other smaller work boats and carry out maintenance on the Conwy coast as required. Weekend working and unsociable hours are a requirement. The post is rewardingand the successful applicant will have a flexible can do attitude, joining a small close knit professional team.
