Job Description

Job TitleAudit ManagerLocationLondonSalary£62,000 - £75,000 + BonusA client of ours, a Top 20 firm based in central London is keen to grow their Business Advisory team by recruiting for an Audit Manager to work on a number of their high profile clients, in a ready made portfolio to take on.You will have responsibility for managing a team and will work closely with the senior members of the team to help shape the direction of the firm.Future progression is clear - the client will put in challenging but achievable targets for you to be promoted to Senior Manager level.Details of the role

  • Managing a busy audit client portfolio
  • Manage a team of Trainees and Seniors, ensuring work is allocated
  • Dealing with client queries on a daily basis
  • Managing the audit process from beginning to end
  • Working on FRS 102 and IFRS clients
  • Typically working on the SME market, with clients between £10-80m turnover, with a few larger turnover businesses thrown in
  • Shadowing Partners in closing meetings to assist personal learning and development
What youll need to succeed
  • Having previously operated at Manager level would be beneficial
  • Experience of auditing the SME market
  • Come from an audit heavy role
  • Ideally experience in both FRS 102 and IFRS clients
  • Team management experience
  • An ambitious and forward thinking mindset
  • You will hold a relevant accounting qualification - ACA/ACCA or equivalent
