Job Description

Manufacturing Manager Manager£34,743 (includes shift allowance) PermanentLlantarnamToner Graham are pleased to be working with an exciting client of ours who specialise in the production and distribution of baked goods in the UK with their search for a Manufacturing Manager.Managing a team of circa 30 direct reports, you will ensure the efficient running of production lines. Working closely with the wider team to ensure all customers orders are completed on time and to the correct specification.Key Responsibilities:

Working with the management team to ensure all KPIs are met (efficiency, waste, cost variance etc)
Take ownership for the Lean Manufacturing Strategy
Coaching and development of your team
Ensuring all safe work practices are adhered to
Investigate customer complaints
Managing the daily shift report - deploying team members to maximize effectiveness across production lines
Training of all team members ensuring training records are completed
Management of performance and conduct issues

Qualifications/Experience:

Previous experience in a supervisory / management role
Experience of FMCG - ideally food manufacturing
Experience using Microsoft functions (Word, Excel etc.)
Lean based qualification - desirable
ILM Level 4 or be prepared to undertake training
