Our Cwmbran based customer is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Technician to join them as soon as possible on a permanent basis.The successful candidate will be working within the production team and will be responsible for maintenance of a growing production facility. This operational role is highly process driven, fast paced, and requiring the candidate to be a good communicator,problem solver with a technical background and a passionate learner.Requirements:Willingness to problem solve and be analyticalExcellent organisation and 5S skillsSelf-starting & motivated - impeccable time & attendance and a can do attitude PC skills - must be proficient with utilising basic packages, to include e-mail High safety standards - demonstrable by examples - ie; knowledge of risk & method statements, safe systems of work etcElectrically qualified - with experience in an office/manufacturing environmentExperience with Cobot/Robot would be an advantageExperience and knowledge of SAP would be an advantageDuties and responsibilities including but not limited to:Mechanical and electrical TPM scheduleResponsible for external contractorsFirst response cover for manufacturing supportCompleting all meter readings accuratelyDetects together with the test team to create opportunities for improvements in the production equipment, and monitors the development of these projects.What the employer offers:Contract in fast-growing global companyChallenging projects in a dynamic collaborative teamFlexible working hoursExcellent working environment - safety and ethics are really important for usCulture & Values - We are more than the products we invent and produce - the way we do business is just as important.
