Job Description

“Reconciliation always brings a springtime to the soul.” Brother Roger.Sheridan Maine is currently seeking an interim Accounts Payable Administrator to join our esteemed client, an established business based in the Newport area. The ideal candidate will have some purchase ledger experience and have a working knowledge of a fast-pacedfinance department. If you are detail-oriented, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.Your responsibilities as the Accounts Payable Administrator will include:

  • Process and review supplier invoices in a timely manner
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any outstanding issues
  • Create new supplier accounts and keep supplier details up to date
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and improve accounts payable processes
  • Assist with month-end closing activities
  • Support other team members with AP activities if their workload requires assistance
To be considered for the Accounts Payable Administrator role, you will need:
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
