Job Description

As the Quality Inspector you will monitor and test the quality of incoming and outgoing products and components for compliance from a legal, safety, company and client perspective as specified.Quality Inspector Responsibilities: Establish and implement routine checks on all processes according to an agreed plan Monitor the performance against stress testing as appropriate Produce reports as required and specifically to support certification purposesQuality Inspector Requirements: Experience of working in a design or manufacturing environment Experience with Quality Conformance repositories (such as Tip QA or equivalent) Experience with PDM program is an advantage Familiarity of sample based inspection criteria Familiarity of Shelf Life programs and data criteria (date of manufacture, date of expiry) Commercial Quality Standards Understanding of Supplier Source Inspections Knowledge of quality standards and external bodies Above average oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills Attention to detail and a passion for accuracy Able to use: Micrometer, Vernier, Calipers, ScalesRelevant Qualifications Internal auditor qualified or quality engineering qualification or relevant experience Education or accreditation - FAI (First Article Inspection) in AS9100 Aerospace in reading technical drawings and blue prints an advantage Prepared to lift heavy items (25kg)Location: Llangennech/Riverside; South WalesType: Full Time, PermanentSalary: £26,000 per annumYou may have experience of the following: Quality Inspector, Quality Controller, Quality Assurance, QA, Manufacturing, Quality Technician, QA Controller, QA Technician, etc.Ref: 104 236
