Job Description

Head ChefAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Head Chef based in SA14 area. The successful candidate will earn £12-25 per hour.This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an excellent team, working in a fast paced a la carte restaurant/pub.Role Requirements

  • Previous experience in a chef role is essential.
  • High standard of food hygiene and health and safety.
  • Adaptable - willing to work as part of a team to showcase your talent and work on the carvery when needed.
  • Works well as part of a team.
  • Looking for a long-term role.
  • Works well with other members of staff to maximise profitability and enjoyment of working.
Role Responsibilities
  • The role involves taking responsibility for the kitchen department, food cost, ordering, food and health and safety.
  • Contribute to the production of food items in accordance to agreed specifications
  • Be knowledgeable of the days business, i.e., know what reservations are booked in to the restaurant, be aware of outside events that will impact directly on business, etc.
  • Oversee and lead the kitchen team.
  • Ensure that all menu dishes are prepared with attention to detail and to the highest standard.
  • Ensure all dishes leaving the kitchen are prepared to the approved standard of presentation.
