Process Operator

Job Description

The role provides you to undertake duties and responsibilities associated with manufacturing work and to operate a forklift truck (If you have a license). As a general overall requirement, you will be required to assist in the general keeping of a good andsafe factory.Main Duties:-

• Setting up production machinery and operating heavy machinery including Use of Fork Lift Truck
• Manual Handling. Moving of products throughout the factory
• Mixing, loading, weighing and blending materials including sheeting, bases and smalls. Accurate weighing out of materials ready for manufacture
• Reading instruments and making adjustments to settings
• Taking Samples and recording data to monitor quality. Laboratory testing
• Packing and storing finished batches including special cut sheeting
• Accurately entering relevant information onto job sheets/paperwork
• Stock control
• Preparing boxes, bags and stripping of labels

• Cleaning and maintaining machinery
• Reporting Problems
• Following strict health and safety guidelines
• In addition, back up cover maybe required with other tasks such as general cleaning and maintenance of the office and communal areas to include the shop floor bins, job aftermath and staff recreational area.
• Assistance throughout the workplace may also be required
