Job Description

Role & Responsibilities* Ensure that the workshop operates in line with our safe systems of work, and all legislative and H&S processes are followed.* Assist with management all KPIs including management of direct and indirect costs, productivity & compliance .* Support the continuous improvement of processes and operating practices within the department.* Plan and manage resources in-line with set budgets* Build rapport, develop trust and respect from both internal and external customers* Provide daily/weekly operational reports and status updates as required* Management and control of all parts use within the workshop.* Support the delivery of plans to plans to drive improved engagement with your team.* Ensure that the Customers Operator Licence obligations are met* To undertake such duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the function.Skills & Experience* Experience of workshop management and operational procedures and standards.* Experience working with or for major commercial vehicle manufacturers.* Experience of people management* Understanding of Workshop operations and VOSAs "Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness."* Experience of managing and improving Key Performance Indicators* Excellent communication skills* Balances the day to day thinking and can assess the commercial implications* Demonstrates commercial awareness* IT literate* Full UK Driving licence with ability to travel to other sites within the UK as needed
