Security Officer | Full time | Site Based | Gwent ParkWe’re looking for a highly competent Security Officer to join the team at our Gwent Park operation. As part of the security team, you will help to monitor the site and secure the perimeter to protect colleagues and visitors as well as our assets and inventory.The ideal candidate will be in possession of an SIA Licence and have prior experience as a security officer/Military experience.THE SALARYUp to £24,000.00 based on experience.REWARDS & BENEFITSWe’ll support your development, help you grow and also offer you a package that includes:

We promote a culture which encourages innovative ideas, and we appreciate your talent is key to our success!SHIFT INFORMATIONThe business will rely on you for the protection, safeguarding and security of its physical assets and people through a rotating 4-on-4-off day time shift pattern providing the site with cover, 7 days per week.KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

Site patrols (when required) to monitor the perimeter, access points and check buildings and equipment.
Monitoring surveillance cameras and equipment.
Vetting and recording visitors and contractors on arrival, responding to emails, controlling site registers, answering out of hours calls etc.
Authorise the ingress/egress of vehicles to site and the recording of commercial vehicle movements via TMS system.
Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel and visitors including on-site compliance with Health & Safety policy, use of designated walkways and the wearing of the correct PPE.
Maintain a smart and presentable appearance, wearing issued uniform / PPE at all times and ensuring your SIA Licence is valid and fully visible whilst on shift.
Note and escalate suspicious behaviours and happenings.
Immediate response to all site alarms.
Submit reports of daily surveillance activity.
Conduct a handover with the oncoming shift.
Protect and maintain confidential information.
Adhere to all company service and operating standards.
Be a point of contact for first aid.
