Job Description

I am currently working exclusively with a welsh based client looking for a part qualified Senior Accountant . This is a new role being added to the team so a great opportunity to make an impact. You will be required to do 1 day in the office in Llandarcyand 4 at home or in any of their office in Wales (Cardiff, Carmarthen, Newport)My client offers a full study package (study leave, revision time, pay for books or block leave)If you are an ambitious part qualified accountant wanting to work in a fast paced environment with progression then you need to apply asap. This is a fantastic opportunity.As the financial accountant you will assist the Financial Controller with the timely and accurate completion of internal management accounts and group reporting packs & compliance with statutory reporting. This will also include preparation of annual companyaudit & ensuring that internal controls and processes operate correctly.Financial Accounting and Reporting Responsibilities· Preparation of internal monthly management accounts and completion of reporting packs to a high level of accuracy within deadlines (currently 5-6 working days)· Maintenance of revenue by customer, including forecasting of revenues· Review of bank reconciliations· Review of fixed assets including depreciation, additions, disposals, recording and reconciliations to ensure that all asset movements are correctly recorded· Review of prepayments and accruals calculations, recordings and postings· Preparation of control account reconciliations for each balance sheet nominal on a monthly basis with any differences and/or reconciling items investigated and resolved on a timely basis· Preparation of monthly inter-company reconciliations· Management of outsourced company cash and credit card expenses system including running of monthly reports and posting of monthly transactions· Review of sales commission statements for each member of the Business Development team for final review by the Finance Director· Review of creditor ledger and resolving queried invoices· Preparation for annual company audit· Preparation of statutory tax submissions, including CIS and VAT returns for review by the Financial Controller· Attendance at monthly operational meetings with department heads to discuss costs and future initiatives· Ad hoc customer contract/cost/profitability analysis· Set up and maintenance of the financial information in the operational systemThis is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to work in a fantastic growing company with a brilliant culture, promoting within and encouraging personal development.Benefits25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (holidays go up to 32 days + BH after 5 years of service)Hybrid working - 1 day in the office required Tuesday to be with the teamFlexi time - Can accrue 2 days every 4 weeksPension contributions - Employee 6-7% Employer 22%Please send me your CV ASAP
