Job Description

Recruit 121 are working exclusively with a public sector agency to recruit a qualified Accounting Technician (or equivalent) with experience of budgeting, financial analysis, ledger maintenance and closure of accounts. This is really a fantastic opportunityfor someone to further their career.Work Experience

  • Experience of budgeting, financial analysis, income recording, ledger maintenance and closure of accounts
  • Experience in the use of spreadsheets, word processing and general financial ledger packages
  • Experience of providing professional advice and support to service directorates and partnerships
Skills/Abilities
  • The ability to work as part of a team and to supervise others
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate to officers at all levels
  • The ability to solve work problems logically and make decisions appropriate to the level of the post
Skills/Attributes
  • The ability to respond positively to changes in the working environment and to deal effectively with work pressures when they arise
  • A high degree of flexibility
  • The ability to work with computers and keep up to date with the latest relevant software packages
  • The ability to provide timely and accurate work
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines
Education and Training
  • Fully qualified Accounting Technician (AAT) or equivalent
  • Further training of a relevant nature
Salary is set at£27,041 - £30,45A great package is also offered along with the opportunity and help to progress to becoming chartered
