Job Description

  • Title: Warehouse Operator
  • Pay Rate: Competitive
  • Location: Speke, Liverpool
  • Shift: 4 on 4 off
  • Contract: Seasonal Contract
  • Duration: Jan-June 2024 (minimum dependent on season length + potential for renewal)
SRG is seeking Warehouse Operators with GMP savvy to join a global pharmaceutical powerhouse in Liverpool for the upcoming 2024 manufacturing season. The Speke facility is a hub of manufacturing, producing and distributing up to 20 million vaccine doseseach year for the world. Join us in shaping the future of healthcare!As a Warehouse Operator, youll be the backbone of the materials management team, ensuring top-notch quality, safety, and efficiency.Your duties:
  • Rule the Standards: Uphold documentation, cleanliness, GMP, and safety regulations like a pro.
  • Be the Owner: Take responsibility for your actions, meet commitments, and embrace a "Right First Time From Me" attitude.
  • Strive for Excellence: Embrace continuous improvement and teamwork, working efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Manage It All: Oversee everything from goods receipt to storage, pick, issue, disposal, and distribution while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Track & Report: Monitor inventory, perform cycle counts, and report levels accurately.
  • Lead When Needed: Supervise a small team when the situation calls for it.
Must-Haves:
  • Education: GCSE/CSE or equivalent in English & Maths.
  • Tech-Savvy: PC literate and familiar with inventory management systems (ERP/SAP).
  • GMP Experience: Prior experience in a GMP or regulated environment, ideally in pharmaceuticals.
  • Warehouse Know-How: Familiarity with warehouse operations is a must.
  • Forklift Experience: Hold a forklift truck license (counterbalance & VNA truck ideally).
  • Drivers licence desirable
  • Leadership Skills: Supervisory experience is a bonus.
