Merseyside Violence Reduction PartnershipLocal PolicingFTC - 31st March 2025Education Lead Grade G - £43,098 - £50,109Do you have experience of leading in a Primary school environmentDo you want to make a difference in your communityMerseyside Violence Reduction PartnershipWe are committed to creating violence-free communities in Merseyside, ensuring better life choices for young people and their families.The Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership (MVRP) is a team of subject leads and experts working together, with our communities, to address the underlying causes of violence and prevent it.Adopting a public health approach, we are focused on intervening in a positive way to help young people and families from before birth to young adulthood.We believe all communities across Merseyside have the right to be free from violence in order to present the best life chances for all.Job PurposeTo support the education, direction and vision of the multi-agency VRP which includes identifying, developing and disseminating all strategically focused education policy and good practice; working in partnership with all partner organisations, local authorities,schools, academies and other providers; and ensuring continuous improvement and raising of standards in the tackling of serious violence. To support the mission statement of enabling all communities across Merseyside to have the right to be free from violencein order to provide the best life chances for all.Knowledge & ExperienceDegree or equivalent, together with membership of or eligible to join a recognised and relevant professional body in order to provide the educational specialism within the multi-agency Violence Reduction Partnership.Significant and successful experience as a senior primary/secondary school leader/Headteacher or school improvement professional with a demonstrable track record of impact on improving and sustaining school standards.Significant experience at a senior level of building and maintaining strategic relationships and partnerships, creating strategies, interventions and innovative solutions to complex issue Up to date knowledge of education policy (curriculum, assessment,performance data, reporting requirements pedagogy and statutory requirements)Ability to lead, inspire and motivate others within a culture of proactive service delivery and continuous improvement.Proven ability in communication, both verbal and written, with the ability to present / prepare reports .
