We have an exciting opportunity available for aTrade Managertojoin our Liverpooloffice.   • Responsible for managing all trade activities within a specific Trade.
  • Coordinating between Head Office/Regional Office Lines and Commercial teams on all Maritime Services relating to assigned Trade(s).
  • Prioritizingand proactively sharingLines’ instructions to relevant Commercial stakeholders.
  • Proactively communicatingand reporting to relevant stakeholders, any issues and relevant information, e.g. relating to Routing, Pricing etc.
  • Building & analysingvessel profiles
  • Producingcommercial forecasts
  • Ensuringall relevant commercial stakeholders are provided with the most up to date freight tariffs/rate sheets/surcharges, and update as required where amendments to these are issued by Head Office.
  • Ensuring any significant changes affecting service delivery within your designated Trade (e.g. ocean rates, haulage, transit times, service changes) are highlighted to relevant stakeholders
To become our Trade Manager, you’ll need:
  • Demonstrable experience in a Trade and/or Sales-orientated capacity, ideally within the Container Shipping and/or broader Logistics industry;
  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrable experience of building and managing effective stakeholder relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to work with all types of data and commercial information, regularly presenting information to key stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • A resilient approach, able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility in your approach, able to respond positively and proactively to differing stakeholder requirements.
  • A natural problem solver, with the ability to identify root-cause of issues and see through to a successful resolution.
  • Competent Microsoft Office Skills – e.g., Excel, Teams, PowerPoint.
