Job Description

Technical Business AnalystAn exciting new role for an experienced Business Analyst to join a two year IT transformation project!You would be working as part of the IT team at one of Liverpool’s best known organisations as they embark on a major financial migration project.This is a unique fixed-term opportunity where you would be taking ownership of analysis on all allocated projects and be working with minimal supervision - a real chance to showcase your skillset and further your career.This role is for a 2-year fixed term contract and offers hybrid working, with one or two days a week on-site.Key skills and background

  • Degree OR equivalent qualification OR relevant professional experience
  • Proven experience working as a business analyst both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience of: process analysis including producing diagrams and models; facilitating workshops, meetings, interviews and focus groups; data collection and analysis and of presenting data visually.
  • It is essential that you have previous experience of business analysis on projects involving finance/ERP systems and cloud migration
  • Experience of business analysis in an education environment would be advantageous

  • You are able to produce clear, precise and accurate information both verbally and in writing
  • You can quickly grasp technical concepts and communicate its details into understandable language
  • You easily engage with a wide range of stakeholders and can adopt a flexible approach to suit most situations
  • You are able to work independently and as part of a team; you are prepared to challenge views and opinions when appropriate
