Job Description

Do you want to be a valued part of the critical infrastructure that serves communities across Europe and beyond Are youlooking for a position in which you can set direction and help shape our company As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Stock Controller to join our team.Be part of the movement – and play your partAbout the roleWorking Monday to Friday, The Stock Controller will ensure the stock rotation/traceability is adhered to for all customers and ensure all orders are fulfilled as requested. The primary task will be to oversee the stock control and warehouse to ensure theyare completing their duties correctly and efficiently.You will be responsible for:

  • Ensure all stock reports are available to the customers on the internet and that they are fully reconciled each week.
  • Check all warehouse reports to ensure all warehouse procedures are being adhered to. These reports are for various reasons, HACCPS, best before date rotation, Part pallet allocation, warehouse locations allocation for all customers, picking area allocationfor all customers.
  • Ensure all goods picked are delivered are completed with no discrepancies and if any discrepancies then investigate fully to try and obtain signature for all cases picked.
  • Trace and track all returns from depots in the UK or Ireland back to either our depot or the supplier/customer. Verify what the customer has rejected matches what stock is returned and double check the reason for return matches the actual returned product.
  • Compile various reports for our customers which are required at various times, daily, weekly monthly. These reports vary for each supplier but mainly consist of hold report, part pallet report, best before date report and pallet number traceability report
  • Ensuring the WMS system is correctly updated on a regular basis by all warehouse, stock control, accounts, transport, planning and customer service staff.
About you
  • At least 1 years experience within a Stock Controller role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of WMS systems.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
