SQL Database AdministratorA leading Financial Services company is looking to hire a SQL Database Administrator.You would be responsible for;* Performance and tuning of our production SQL environment hosted both on prem and in Azure* Proactively monitoring and identifying changes required to optimise the Azure SQL Environment* Working closely with engineering and technical support teams to improve reliability and scalability for the clientsTherefore, they are looking for candidates with the following skills and experiences;* Substantial experience in installation, configuration and support of SQL Server (2008 R2 and above).* Experience working in a hybrid Azure SQL Server environment* Hands on experience with TSQL and Powershell* SQL Backup, Index optimisation, Database integrity, exposure to Commvault* Ability to provide 24/7 on call cover on a 1 in 3 basisSQL Database Administrator
