Providing expert advice, managing, and maintaining all the operational reward and benefits activities and leading strategic initiatives to shape a modern and affordable reward andbenefits package that enable us to attract and retain talent.About YouYou will have act as a Role model for out Our Riverside Way and ways of working. Be CIPD level 7 qualified or equivalent gained through experience. Proven track record within reward, benefits and pensions demonstrable experience of managing reward and benefitspackages, cyclical reward activity. Demonstrable and deep technical expertise in reward, up to date knowledge of best practice, latest innovations in reward and legislation as it relates to reward and benefitsRole Requirements
  • To lead in such a way as to have a positive impact on our people. Role modelling Our Riverside Way, ensuring our ways of working are embedded in all we do and ensuring the achievement of our aspired culture.
  • Own and manage Riverside’s approach to reward and benefits, including the full reward proposition, open pensions, benefits offering, working collaboratively within People Services and managers to ensure consistent sharing of knowledge, implementation andadherence to policies and procedures
  • Lead specific reward initiatives (eg redesign of pay structures), from design to implementation, ensuring cross functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement and a robust plan to ensure a successful implementation
  • Develop and implement the Reward and Benefits strategy, provide expert advice, guidance, strategic and practical direction to colleagues and managers
  • Manage a fair and consistent process for role pricing and benchmarking, peer reviewing completed pricing activity and ensuring outcomes are robust and consistent across the business, reflecting the appropriate market positioning
  • Manage contracts with external suppliers liaising with Procurement as required to ensure value for money and a high-quality service and offering to colleagues.
  • Lead, working with the Reward Advisor to support the PS Delivery Team in the timely management of cyclical activities, (eg pay review, Real Living Wage, pensions re[1]enrolment)
  • Support the Director of People and Culture in the pay review cycle through information gathering and modelling, participating in trade union consultation meetings, drafting communications and supporting the Head of PS Delivery and other PS teams in ensuringaccurate implementation
  • Manage and monitor budgets as may be delegated and work with colleagues in Finance on budget monitoring and setting for the team
  • Manage and maintain a process for the management of death in service claims, liaising with relevant external partners as required and supporting the Reward Advisor with due diligence and reporting to the Trustees
  • Management of open pensions scheme, working with Head of People Services Delivery and Finance to support our future strategic direction and undertake any activity and or projects required to help us achieve our ambition and keep us safe and compliantEnsurethat all information...
