What you will be responsible for
  • Maintaining accurate clinical observations of patients; escalating concerns as appropriate
  • To be aware of the safe policy and procedures for using subcutaneous and intravenous devices and usage of enteral feeding tubes
  • To communicate effectively with patients, relatives and the healthcare team, while being mindful of possible barriers to understanding
  • To have responsibility for the correct administration and custody of medicines according to the trust policy.
Youll have the following qualification/experience:
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience as an Oncology Nurse within the last 2 years
  • Statement of NMC Registration
  • Degree /Diploma in Nursing
