You and your team of two, will continue the development of our QMS (Quality Management System)and instill a site-wide quality mindset.Your role will be incredibly varied and include:Organising and completing internal audit plans, in line with ISO9001 Maintain a safe, healthy environment, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and Company standards, including active participation in Risk Assessment and Near Miss Reporting. Lead 8D reviews of quality complaints with key stakeholders and weekly production quality review meetings.In addition you will define, maintain / audit / improve process control plans and quality source inspection / testing throughout the UK site.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Quality Manager: Manufacturing / Industrial / EngineeringYoull be a proven Quality Manager with experience of implementing and driving company-wide quality cultures and processes within a heavy manufacturing / industrial environment. We would particularly welcome your application if you have an automotive manufacturingbackground.You will also: Be experienced in the use of MS Sharepoint software Have experience of Quality Techniques (SPC, problem solving) Conducting internal audits Be familiar with the challenges of a continuous manufacturing processAlthough not essential any awareness / exposure to ISO 14001, 50001 or TS16949 would also be a benefit.THE COMPANY:Were a global specialist manufacturer and a world leader in our particular product field, with a history spanning more than 60 years.
