Job Description

Our client is a leading global systems provider of advanced integrated technology in parking management systems. They develop, manufacture, distribute and service equipment and have a tradition of innovation and invention.They now require a Project Manager to manage the delivery of projects from concept to go-live.THE ROLE

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects to ensure that all milestones are met and all the customer concerns are addressed and resolved.
  • You will manage customer relationships and projects, set and manage customer expectations & anticipate future needs.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are adhered to and executed in accordance with contracts.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets.
  • Ensure that software development is scheduled with development team and delivered as per project schedule.
  • Schedule customer training.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate site implementation works and manage necessary subcontractors for installation and commissioning activities to acceptance testing adopting a "hands-on approach," where necessary.
  • You will ensure the smooth on boarding of any sub-contractors and that all documentation is in place, such as contracts, insurance and liability.
  • Contribute to a project / service minded and client oriented approach focused upon the end-users satisfaction.
THE INDIVIDUAL
  • To apply you will ideally have experience in a Project Management role, delivering electronic, electro-mechanical or PC-controlled / software capital equipment projects.
  • Ideally, but not essentially, you will have a technical qualification, such as City & Guilds 224, 236, NVQ / ONC / OND / HNC or HND or Degree in Electronic / Electrical or Mechanical / Software Engineering / or equivalent.
  • You may have worked in the Security Systems - CCTV, Access Control / Gating, EPOS / Leisure / Alarm or Mobility / Transportation / Mass Transit - Revenue Collection / Ticketing or perhaps the ATM, Vending, Biometrics or gaming sectors. The ANPR (AutomaticNumber Plate Recognition) sector, / Traffic sector, or perhaps a Systems integrator or capital equipment manufacturer or a technical company who deliver project solutions to the public sector for e.g., NHS, Police, Local Authorities or Retail sectors.
  • Experience gained in the networked car parking systems / solutions / off street / pay on foot equipment sector would be advantageous but not essential.
  • A Project Management qualification such PRINCE 2 or a similar Project methodology would be helpful; as would any IOSH training.
  • You will have a full current UK driving licence as you will travel throughout the UK, but primarily working in the North of England and into Scotland.
  • Full product training will be provided.
