Job Description

As a Process Engineer, you will support our biodiesel and anaerobic digestion plants and our used cooking oil processing sites. You will be a fundamental part of our team, enabling us to continue with our mission to help protect the planet whilst providingengineering support, executing improvement projects and troubleshooting.Client DetailsWith over 700 colleagues in multiple sites nationwide, my client supplies premium cooking oils, and collects organic waste, which is then converted into bio-methane, electricity, heat and organic fertiliser.Description

  • The opportunity to work as part of the team designing, commissioning and starting up new production plants
  • Manage the complete life cycle of projects; from purchasing to execution and training
  • Represent the Production Department at senior management level
  • The opportunity to deliver performance excellence
  • Support the plants and processing sites with troubleshooting, improvement projects and engineering support
  • Prepare and review process flow diagrams, process and instrumentation diagrams, project specifications, design calculations, analysis and procurement specifications
Profile
  • Proven experience of identification of plant improvements and leading the improvement project from design to commissioning in a commercial environment in a relevant engineering role
  • IT skills
  • A degree level qualification in chemical or mechanical engineering
  • The ability to work in an autonomous manner
