A global chemical company are recruiting for a Polymer Development Technician on a 12m FTC for their site based in Liverpool. As a Polymer Development Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a mix of short and long-term R&D projects focussed on the development and application of novel polymer systems.To be considered for this Polymer Development Technician, you will be degree educated in Chemistry (BSc/MSc/MChem) ideally with further academics or projects based around polymer chemistry, materials science or coatings chemistry.Previous experience of carrying out polymer synthesis, polymerisations (free radical addition polymerisation preferred) and polymer characterisations is also required. Someone with a background in carrying out a range of polymerisation techniques, as well as use of analytical techniques such as GPC, NMR, FTIR and thermal polymer analysis would be highly desirable.Key Responsibilities
