Page Personnel are seeking a successful Payroll & Benefits Assistant Manager/Analyst to join a well-know, global HR team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will manage payroll processes, ensure compliance with regulations, and oversee benefits administrationand deal with end-end payroll whilst managing a small team.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established leader with a strong emphasis on innovation and sustainability, they are committed to providing high-quality products and services to their customers. They are looking for a solid Payroll & Benefits Assistant Manager/Analystto join their team in Liverpool on a full-time, permanent basis to look after a small team of payroll advisors.DescriptionThe successful Payroll & Benefits Assistant Manager/Analyst duties include:

  • Manage and execute payroll operations efficiently and accurately for over 4,000 employees
  • Ensure compliance with current payroll requirements
  • Supervise the benefits administration process including; group life assurance, critical illness etc;
  • Address employee queries regarding payroll and benefits
  • Year end P11Ds/P60s
  • Analysis work involving Finance to prepare balance sheet journals against the payroll
  • Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data
  • Prepare reports for senior management
  • Stay updated on payroll and benefits trends and legislation
  • Manual calculations when required
  • Analyse/scrutinise payroll data to ensure its compliant
  • Supervise a small team of payroll advisor and act as an escalation point
ProfileA successful Payroll & Benefits Assistant Manager/Analyst should have:
  • Proven experience in a Senior Payroll position
  • Analytical approach to payroll/finance related queries - journal experience
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to do vlookup/pivot tables to run payroll analysis reports
