Job Description

EYFS Teaching AssistantFull Time PositionASAP - 12 month contract The children, staff and Governors of a West Derby -based Primary School are looking to appoint a creative, imaginative and enthusiastic practitioner to work as an Early Years Teaching Assistant within their Nursery provision.You will be based in the Baby room or Toddler room, and experience of Babies or Toddlers is essential.This is a 52 week provision open between 8-6 on a rota, Monday - Friday.The successful applicant will, also, have:

  • Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills;
  • The ability to work alongside the Class Teacher and a small team of Teaching Assistants;
  • High expectations and the ability to motivate pupils;
  • A calm personality, patience and good sense of humour;
  • A Level 2 qualification or Early Years qualification;
  • Good knowledge, understanding and experience of the curriculum.
