Job Description

Salary: £20,500Hours of work: Monday-Thursday 9 am – 5.30 pm Friday 9 am – 5 pmLocation: LiverpoolBenefits 25 days holiday per annum Holiday buy and sell scheme.To assist the fee earners and to provide general help and assistance with all aspects of litigated and non–litigated personal injury claims and/or technical nature.Preparing Trial bundles, preparing witness statements, obtaining and reviewing evidence (medical or otherwise) obtaining and collating medical records, instructing Counsel, preparing court proceedings and providing general help and assistance on litigated filesas and when required.Key Duties

  • Providing general administrative and clerical support
  • Proactively manage diaries and diarise actions.
  • Generating standard system-driven letters
  • Composing letters to clients/customers
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients and external agencies relating to claims.
  • Effective prioritisation of tasks whilst managing a full workload
  • Book client and internal meetings
  • Prepare correspondence and documents from digital dictation.
  • Answer and make telephone calls.
  • Manage the case management system.
  • Prepare document bundles.
  • Open and close files
  • Set up new clients on the finance system.
  • File, archive, photocopy, and scan documents as and when required.
  • Ensure that client contact information is kept up to date.
  • Assist with the booking of travel arrangements.
Experience & Knowledge
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to cope under pressure.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • An ability to work using own initiative within boundaries, as well as in a team, to achieve maximum results.
