Job Description

Job Title: Junior Quality Control AnalystLocation: LiverpoolContract: 4 monthsSRG are working with a leading healthcare company to recruit a new Junior Quality Control Analyst to join their team in Liverpool on a full time basis. As an Analyst you would be responsible for supporting the testing at various stages of manufacturing processas required.Key responsibilities:

  • Perform sample analysis for Raw Materials, In-process, Release and Stability
  • Perform complex analysis method involving SEC analysis
  • Sample handling
  • Follow established procedures for performing activities in the laboratory
  • Follow Good Quality Control Laboratory Practices (GLP) and maintain the work area, adhering to the 6S established for the area.
  • Follows with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
  • Provide support for the QC Manager in any reasonable request relating to the laboratory operation.
  • Able to support investigations and occasionally lead an investigation
  • Provide support and training for others within the laboratory
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
  • Experience with the following:
    • Analytical weighing
    • Sample dilutions
    • Instrumental techniques (SEC-HPLC, AAS, pH, Conductivity, TOC)
  • Understand GMP requirements and Regulators Expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential, proactive approach to work
  • Science based qualification degree level or significant experience working within a QC laboratory.
