About the roleIn your role as Junior Internal Auditor, you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset.This role will provide a great opportunity to Support the Internal Audit (IA) department in achieving its strategic objectives by helping the IA team to:Focus their efforts on the organisation’s highest risksDeliver the annual internal audit planFollow up on internal audit findings to ensure they have been completedProvide useful, insightful, and impactful information to stakeholdersDevelop and embed data analysis routines throughout the internal audit lifecycleWhat you will be doingAs a trusted part of the Audit you will be responsible for:Delivering ResultsInternal audit planning - providing input into the annual audit plan development to ensure the team focusses on the areas of highest riskInternal audit delivery - Working with the IT Audit Manager, and supported by other members of the IA team, to deliver internal audit assignments in line with the annual internal audit plan and in compliance with IIA standards.Internal audit reporting - Provide insightful analysis to support and inform the sharing of audit observations with management and through committee reporting.Follow up of internal audit findings – assist in the follow up of internal audit findings to ensure the actions taken mitigate the risk identifiedData analytics - Working with the IT Audit Manager, and supported by other members of the IA team, to develop and roll out data analytics throughout the internal audit lifecycle to enhance the effectiveness of IA’s assurance capabilities.Managing ResourcesSupport the HIA co-ordinate the timely completion of the audit plans through Audit KPI monitoring.
