Job Description

Infrastructure Engineer12 month FTC - Hybrid WorkingOur client, a leading organisation in Liverpool have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to join on a 12 month initial Fixed Term Contract. You will be taskedwith all manner of 2nd/3rd line requests/support issues. Supporting the infrastructureteams for delivery of business driven technical projects and implementations. To troubleshoot hardware & software issues, including problem escalation to suppliers and third parties.Essential Skills:

  • Work experience in an IT Service Delivery or Support function.
  • Strong familiarity with both Linux and Windows Server Operating Systems.
  • Patch Management and vulnerability remediation
  • Strong familiarity with AD and associated management tools, including Group Policy, GPP, GPMC, AGPM.
  • Virtualisation technologies, including Hyper-V and VMware an supporting management/monitoring toolsets.
  • Microsoft Exchange and messaging technologies.
  • Shared storage and SAN technologies (iSCSI/FC).
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to take a structured, methodical approach to fault finding and problem resolution.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively contribute to multiple projects in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to create and maintain documentation.
  • Familiarity of working in a quality management framework.
Desirable skills:
  • Exposure to O365 / EXO and Azure
  • Exposure to MDM solutions for Mobile Management would be advantageous.
  • Some exposure to MS SCCM would be advantageous
