Job Description

ICT Teacher for SEMH School in LiverpoolLocation: Fazakerley, LiverpoolContract: Long TermStart Date: ASAPTradewind Recruitment are currently working with a SEMH School based in Fazakerley, Liverpool. The school provides education to Key Stage 3 students in a short stay setting, catering to 66 children who have either been or are at risk of being permanentlyexcluded. They serve the entire Liverpool Region and are committed to shaping education for vulnerable pupils, providing them with the support and guidance they need to thrive academically and socially. They are currently looking for a qualified ICT Teacherto support their students.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a challenging ICT curriculum tailored to the needs of SEMH students.
  • Implement teaching methods that effectively engage students and promote active learning.
  • Utilise differentiation strategies to support the progress of students with varying abilities.
  • Assess and record the development, progress and achievements of students.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents/carers.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience planning and delivering an appropriately challenging curriculum.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of vulnerable pupils.
